FL3X Config supports all common bus systems such as CAN-FD/-HS, FlexRay, Standard Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1, 1000BASE-T1), LIN, SENT and 10BASE-T1S. Save your setups in FL3X Config and then open them in FL3X Config mobile - so you always have the same content on both systems.
The new release of the successful FL3X Config 1.3 software now also supports MACsec (only in conjunction with the FL3X Tiny3 1000/100BASE-T1 Switched). This means that an FL3X device can now be used as a fully-fledged component in environments that use MACsec encryption.
LIN support has been added to the “Bus Data to Trace” feature, which means that LIN data can now also be visualized and saved in addition to the already supported bus systems such as CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet.
A search function has been added to the “UserFunction Editor” dialog to improve usability, allowing elements to be found in record time so that they can be read, written or used for further access via C code.
A new, high-precision stopwatch with which times can be measured in the “UserFunction Editor” dialog has been integrated into the application - up to 10 stopwatches can be activated here.
In the context of confidentiality, a security feature has been introduced which now makes it possible to encrypt specific areas of the website of all FL3X products with a password in order to keep top secret information.
Signal update bits and signal group update bits can now also be manipulated via FL3X Config Control, which means that almost all elements can be selected for manipulation in order to map even the most specific use cases.
Tooltips can now be activated and deactivated using the [F7] key, which guarantees a perfect overview of all elements and actions in your application.
The naming of the s19 file generated during compilation can be changed to the name of the “Version String” of the FL3X Config project from this version onwards. This is for better version management, as the s19 files no longer have a static name. Note: The s19 file is created “twice” during configuration (1x as always static naming; 1x with the name of the “Version String”).
Another possibility to customize your configuration is a new feature scope which now allows you to configure endpoint configurations (e.g. IP address and port) for RECEIVE ELEMENTS. Missing information from databases can be conveniently added and customized in the familiar environment of FL3X Config.
