Use of Marketo
a) Description and extent of data processing:
STAR COOPERATION GmbH uses services provided by the company Marketo EMEA Limited, Cairn House, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (‘Marketo’) for purposes such as sending out our newsletter, invitations to webinars and events as well as the ability to download information about our company and products (‘Digital Services’). To enable this analysis, the emails sent contain what are known as web beacons or tracking pixels. These single-pixel image files enable your user behaviour to be recorded. Tracking is not possible if you have disabled the display of images in your email program by default. If you manually display images, the abovementioned tracking process is performed. We capture information about when you read our emails, which links you click in these, and we infer your personal interests accordingly. We link this data to the actions you carry out on our website. Marketo stores the information gathered in this way on its server in the European Union or the European Economic Area (EU or EEA). If you use one of our Digital Services and have completed the registration process accordingly (for example for our newsletter), Marketo also supports us in analysing your user behaviour on our website. This involves a text file (cookie, see also ‘Use of dedicated cookies’) being stored on your computer that enables us to recognise you next time you visit our website.

b) Purpose of the data processing:
We analyse how you use our website as well as further digital content such as videos, banners and downloads that are put online via our website. This enables us to tailor our offerings individually to your requirements so that overall you receive fewer randomly targeted offers. We use the data obtained in this way to tailor our Digital Services to your interests and provide them to you accordingly.

c) Storage duration:
The cookie on your system will expire after 24 months. You can prevent the cookie from being saved by configuring your browser software settings accordingly.

d) Option to object and cancel
If you register for one of our Digital Services and provide personal data in this context via a registration form, we will obtain your consent separately. By giving this consent, you declare your agreement with the described extent of the data processing in the course of the use of our Digital Services, such as newsletters, invitations to webinars and events and the associated analysis of your user behaviour as described in this section.

As a user, you can cancel your registration at any time. You can modify the stored data concerning you at any time. Please contact the following email address: info@star-cooperation.com
