The FL3X System-XS in combination with the free FL3X Config software is the comprehensive solution for all test engineers who work with bus systems such as CAN, LIN or SENT. Whether tracing, creating residual bus simulations, logging or manipulating bus data, the FL3X System-XS offers all these functions in one device!

The FL3X System-XS is configured using the convenient FL3X Config software. This software can be used without any programming knowledge and allows, for example, the configuration of a residual bus simulation with just a few clicks. The bus data is also analyzed using FL3X Config, so all use cases can be covered with just one tool.

The FL3X System-XS is available in two versions. In the basic version, the FL3X system has a CAN-FD, a LIN and a SENT interface. In the extended version, the FL3X System-XS², the device has two CAN-FD, two LIN and two SENT interfaces and can be ideally used as a manipulator (man-in-the-middle) for these bus systems. FL3X Config also takes over the configuration here, as it can be created with just a few clicks and without any programming knowledge. This makes this device ideal for homologation. CAN, LIN and SENT traffic can be manipulated at frame, PDU and signal level - even during runtime.

Another highlight is the analysis options. With the FL3X Config tool for Windows operating systems and FL3X Config mobile for Android operating systems, bus data can be displayed and analyzed in real time. This enables faster error detection and correction. In addition, the FL3X System-XS can be configured as a gateway between different automotive buses to enable communication between different bus systems.

The integrated data logging in *.asc or .mf4 format allows bus data to be saved on the internal 8 GB flash memory. This enables the data to be analyzed at a later time. The optionally available LTE module provides additional connectivity, for example, temporarily stored logging data can be transferred to the server if a mobile network is available. Support for the logger protocols ASAM CMP 1.0 and PLP, as well as various diagnostic protocols such as XCP or UDS are also supported. The FL3X System-XS is therefore ideally equipped for future developments.

With the integrated ARM 64-bit quad-core CPU, which runs at 1 GHz, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB flash memory, the FL3X System-XS delivers the necessary computing power for demanding automotive applications. The FL3X System-XS supports a variety of communication protocols and also offers four digital outputs (DO) and two analog inputs/outputs (ADIO) as well as a USB port for certified USB accessories.
