FL3X Config supports all common bus systems, including CAN FD/ HS, FlexRay, standard Ethernet, Automotive Ethernet (100BASE T1, 1000BASE T1), LIN, SENT, and 10BASE T1S. Save your setups directly in FL3X Config and open them later in FL3X Config Mobile – ensuring identical content and configurations across both systems at all times.
A brand-new Graph Window allows visualization of signals and data types, enabling users to monitor signal and data type behavior in live traces or imported trace files with ease. This is ideal for quickly and efficiently tracking events such as ignition state changes or message counter signals.
With the new FL3X Config 1.5 release, additional database formats and database representations are now supported. The new “No Retransmission” (No RTNS) feature allows CAN bus startup behavior to be configured so that networks with network management can be initialized even when a specific CAN ID is required during startup.
The new “PTP – Transparent Clock” function makes it possible to integrate FL3X Devices and FL3X Systems into setups that rely on precise bus or network time synchronization. External loggers that obtain their data via CMP (Certificate Management Protocol) can now even more easily use a FL3X Device, FL3X Interface, or FL3X System as an interface. Complete CMP configuration can be performed with just a few clicks via the product specific website. Additionally, CMP and time synchronization configurations can be exported and imported directly from the website, enabling quick and easy deployment to additional FL3X Devices and FL3X Systems.
Another highlight is TC10 support for 10BASE T1S, which enables triggering and detection of Wake-Up Pulses (WUP). Using the corresponding prototype hardware, for example, a FL3X Device PCIe can be integrated as a fully TC10 capable participant in system setups.
Via a new command set in the PC HW Interface, database elements can now be adjusted in terms of their data length (DLC – Data Length Code) and cyclic timing.
FL3X Config has also taken a major step forward toward testing with the introduction of the “Tester” feature. FL3X Config projects can now be configured to test specific functionalities of a connected real ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Likewise, projects created in FL3X Config can be validated for correct functionality.

In the User Function Editor, new math and memory functions have been introduced. These functions can now be used directly without requiring the integration of additional C programming. The GUI based support makes access to these functions as simple and intuitive as ever.
