Many engineers, computer scientists and technicians are faced with the challenge of expanding their test bench or application software to access automobile bus systems. Once you have solved the first challenge, the integration of the bus systems, with the help of a suitable interface and a corresponding driver, the interpretation of the received data follows. Here too, various hurdles must be overcome. The bus communication and network commutation must be interpreted using a database in order to be able to evaluate signal values as such, for example. Different standards for mapping databases per OEM and different database formats make this task even more difficult. So far, a disproportionate amount of time has had to be invested in this.
FL3X Config SDK offers a comprehensive and straightforward solution for this integration. A simple integration of the .NET library into your Windows application gives you quick and convenient access to a wide variety of bus systems, such as CAN-HS, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet and now also LIN. A wide range of common database formats such as AUTOSAR (*.arxml), FIBEX (*.xml), CANdb (*.dbc) and LDF (*ldf) are already supported here. Using a parser from the .NET library, bus data and network data can be interpreted directly using the database. Raw data is automatically converted into physical values, which opens up new possibilities for you.
In addition to the already supported bus systems such as FlexRay, CAN-HS, CAN-FD and Automotive Ethernet, the FL3X Config SDK 1.7 offers full LIN support. This expansion opens up new opportunities for developers to integrate and analyze all LIN-based systems. Thanks to the new LIN support, it is now possible to load LDF databases (*.ldf) which can be used to interpret LIN data.
In this context, all existing converters were updated and tuned for optimal performance - this offers more performance and shorter loading times for even faster integration of all bus data into your Windows environment.
